Notes for facilitators

Interest Groups are a major part of the u3a movement and the success of these groups is the direct result of the enthusiasm and commitment of our Group Facilitators.

Group facilitators run the group according to the interests of its members and may or may not be experts in the subject to be studied. Some groups have two or more facilitators who can share in running the group.

Stuck for ideas for your group? The u3a has more than 80 subject advisers who are available to help you and your interest group.

The u3a also offers a full range of learning tools and resources.

Below, you will find links to guidelines to help when setting up new groups and in running established groups and other guidelines and reporting forms that you may need.
