Membership is open to all in their third age, which is defined not by a particular age but by a period in life in which full time employment has ceased.

Membership of Wigtownshire u3a entitles you to attend the monthly meetings, join as many interest groups as you wish, and also attend other u3a meetings throughout the UK and worldwide. Not sure whether it's for you? You may attend up to 2 group meetings before you decide whether to become a member. Visitors are welcome at the monthly meetings for a small charge.

You can enjoy the benefits of the facilities on the national u3a website too. These include on-line learning resources and courses, subject links, u3a publication downloads, and special deals for u3a members.

Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December. Our annual subscription is normally a modest £20 per year, but a reduced fee of £10 is payable if you join us after July.

Please make payment either:-

• by cheque made payable to Wigtownshire u3a, or
• by cash at a monthly meeting, or
• by internet banking payment to our Wigtownshire u3a account (the account details are on the application form).
