After negotiating road closures this morning, Gentle Rambling made it to the start of a great walk in Balloch Wood. The mix of flora was the main talking point with areas of wild flowers, shrubs, conifer and broadleaved trees. At the end of the walk were the very interesting standing stones before a trip to the Gemrock Museum for lunch.
