In October the Gardening Group was invited to Isabelle's garden where Ewen gave a demonstration of plant propagation similar to the session he did during the Wigtown Book Festival.  He showed us the correct way to sow and pot seeds; how to take and plant cuttings, and how to divide plants to create multiple new plants.  Members were invited to take cuttings and seeds away with them. 

Isabelle then gave us a tour of her garden, pointing out which plants were suitable for taking cuttings, which she offered to members. Thank you to Isabelle and Ewen for a very interesting and informative session, which finished with a plant swap; tea, coffee, and wonderful cakes.
