The Gardening Group had an interesting outing to Ha-hill Garden, Torhousemuir on Monday 17th March. The owners, Adrian and Liz McLaughlin, showed us round the 2 acre garden and discussed their interest in trees and the problems arising from the latest storm damage when large, mature trees were blown over. We all admired the large areas of daffodils, the pond, the camelias ( unfortunately frosted a bit) and the winding paths and pretty bridges over streams throughout the garden. Then we went inside for a welcome cup of tea and home baking.
